Bootloop

I am having this bootloop issue as well, with the version of the skin downloaded 2 days ago in theme downloader. v1.0 16.1 Mb
I have investigated, and it happens when the phone tries to show the lockscreen when the charger is connected.
I.e. if i apply full theme and reboot without charger it's fine, if i unlock, then connect the charger, still fine, if i lock the phone, then unlock, charger connected, it reboots.
I have not tried any of the fixes you posted here yet, but that might help you pinpoint the bug...

Definatley not related to boot animation.

Download the version in the first post and use that one..Don't use the one from the theme downloader cause I don't know how to update that one..The issue has been found and its when using charging .png image files. Who knows when it will be fixed but download the one in first post and all is good..Its version 6

I love this ROM the most because of all the colors. I hope the owner continues to update it.

Unless something changes with the theming I don't know about it should work fine with newer versions. I don't run MIUI anymore but I know it works with 1.1.7 just fine..

Man. Why's it feel like all the devs are bailing on MIUI...

Agreed, besides the few theme's that where available after MIUI allowed theme's there hasn't been anything new

Mostly CM7 but I did load v1.14 last night. So far so good.

whats the big difference between cm7 and miui? i can't find a good comparison online

I'm not sure I'm the best person to compare the two but CM7 is more vanilla android for the most part.

That boot animation is just atrocious. Nearly blew out my ear drums.

Thanks for reminding me..my son made me use that one and I forgot to update..I was testing boot sound..I will update it later when I get home..

Can you also change the dock back to the gray version like with the previous version. Don't think the current brown (wood) version looks right.

You don't think so? I thought that looked pretty cool..

I like the previous one better. Works better with the various wallpapers in my opinion.
