You do not need to flash GAPPS with this rom. Basic Apps are included, the others are available from the Play Store!!

To apply interface settings in control panel you need to reboot the phone or go to settings/Status bar Settings and change the layout style from page to compact and then again back to page.

4. INSTRUCTIONS

1 - Extract the boot.img of the rom

2 - Restart bootloader

3 - From the directory where you have the fastboot started the following commands:

4 - Fastboot flash boot boot.img

5 - Fastboot erase cache

6 - Restart in recovery

7 - Make full wipe - (optional)

8 - Install rom

9 - Enjoy

or

1 - DOWNLOAD THE ROM FLASHER - See attachment at the bottom

2 - Extract the .zip

3 - put the boot.img from the rom's zip to the extracted folder

4 - Leave your phone in the HOME LAUNCHER (the script will reboot it into fastboot for you)

5 - RUN flash-boot-windows.bat

BUT, DO NOT FLASH ANY OTHER BOOT.IMG EXCEPT THE ONE THAT COMES WITH THE LATEST ROM!

6. BUG REPORTING

I would like to fix as many bugs as possible. If you tell me THIS doesn't work and THAT doesn't work, I cannot find out what is wrong and cannot fix the problem.

The easiest way to provide a logcat is with aLogcat from GooglePlay store.

Open aLogcat after whatever incident you would like to report,

Hit Menu > Save

Files save to /sdcard/alogcat/

7. IMPORTANT!! UPDATE HBOOT!!

In order to use the new JB rom (which is based on the official HTC JB version, you will need newer hboot version. To flash the firmware, be sure to check if your CID is compatible and you have made all the necessary preparations. You can download the Flasher HERE. Be SURE to follow THIS THREAD and read all about it.

Remember: Once you update your hboot, there is no downgrading back. Usually this is not a bad thing since all the new roms are JB based, but if you want to use some CM10, some 4.1.x AOSP or an old ICS rom you will have to repack kernels and probably your GPS will not work. The combo JB+NEW HBOOT works perfectly!

Sorry mate, this is no go since your HOX is a different platform, Snapdragon Dual-Core against this Tegra 3 quad-core..

For this friday we will have the new build with the new base 2.05 from HTC.. It is 20% faster, and better to the battery

Or maybe we will try with this build and the new base first. But, dekkyy will tell what will happen. I'll keep you posted..

I think you have to use a 3rd party app for that. In none of the ICS for MIUI you can not find that. It is a matter of the kernel capability, but since for DHD we wait till August for the 3.0 official kernel and official ICS, you can try with this app, it supports the adhoc. But, make a nandroid (rom backup) before just in case

This rom is based on the miuiandroid.com one, so the base is the same, just some tweaks to the build.prop, builded on top on the original HTC rom, with a custom fast kernel and with some mods plus..

The new 6.16 version is just the same as 6.15 but with a small bug about the contacts (which you can read on the home page) fixed, nothing different or extra.

Today, or tomorrow, we will have the NEW HTC Base 2.05 as a base on which the latest MIUI will be ported, so i suggest to wait for that rom.. It will be damn FAST and STABLE

I don't have any problem with any hardware on my HOX.. All works perfect so far.. And it is a MUST TO FULL WIPE everything prior to flashing the new base.. It is a completely new rom and new miui..

NEW BASE 2.05 with the latest 2.6.16 (2.6.15 + contacts fix) is UP! Enjoy this EPIC NEW release from dekky, and report errors of course

NOTE: New ROM flasher from OP is uploaded. YOU MUST FLASH THE NEW BOOT, since it is a NEW KERNEL inside! Of course you can extract the boot.img from the rom and flash it manually.
