Clockwork Mod Recovery:
Touch 5.8.0.2 for NS4G - Download (image file you will need to use adb to install)

Clockwork Recovery Touch - Works well on the NS4G. Use the 3 way boot in post #5 for reboot into recovery from the power menu.

Recommend using the one click root for NS4G if your not good with ADB just replace the Recovery.img file in the one click folder with the one for CWM Recovery Touch

Be sure to rename it to recovery.img

just run the batch file like you would if you were rooting the device. the phone will restart just follow the prompts on the pc. you will get an error that your phone is already rooted. ignore it and keep going.

it will boot to fastboot menu then push the recovery files over to the phone. once it finishes and tells you to use the vol buttons to select recovery go ahead and unplug the phone from your pc. and close out of the one click root on the pc. then select recovery on the phone and make sure its working correctly.

MIUI ROM 2.4.13 ICS For Nexus S 4G:

Had issues with wifi and downloads not working.
Changed over to this setup. Wifi Works. Downloads through wifi and data works.
No major issues so far. Now at 3hrs and no problems.
Touch Screen is Very responsive with this setup
Very Satisfied.

Recommend Not Overclocking.
Just use the phone for a day and let the simlinks update
Response time will smooth out.
also dont use live wall paper for the first day or so.

Only problem im having is with the clock widget displaying 24 hr clock instead of the 12hr format its supposed to show.

Still Testing But So Far So Good With This Setup.
Still Slightly Laggy At Start Up And Unlock But Useable.

i wonder what the chances are of flashing that 4g 2.4.27 build over the regular 2.4.27 are so i don't have to redo data/apps

I havent attempted that honestly. with my NS4G Radio Chip being messed up I have switched my phone back to stock so I can take it in and get a diagnostic run on it. sprint customer service told me my phone refuses to connect to the correct tower in my area and is in a constant roam state so I havent messed with any custom roms in the past week or so.

The link in the op for the 4g miui is for the crespo, not the crespo 4g! I want miui 4g!

so, can someone get on miui.us forums and let them know its not sending out activation emails? I can't create an account. I've tried multiple emails.

Took the Nexus S 4G in to sprint and they gave me a Motorola Photon 4G as a direct replacement no charge so i've switched to the Olympus (Atrix 4G) and Sunfire (Photon 4G AKA MoPho) modding areas.
