MIUI v4 Dark version (Concept-Mockup)

Hello everyone!

I remember that on the gingerbread miui version there was a dark version of the original light one.
That theme was in beta and it didn't got improved.

So i thought to create something similar for miui v4 but with better graphics and nice design dark colors so the theme works better so saving battery life and it is easier to look
at your screen for long time and especially at nights.

Actually this is only a mockup and i will only provide the PSD files of the MIUI v4 Dark version (settings, dialer, toggles).
It would be nice if someone could make this an actually theme file cause i've never made one for miui.

Also just tell me what other parts i have to design so we'll have a complete dark version of miui.

Once this theme will be complete the orange color can be easily changed.

Current problem is that .xml files doesn't work in themes so you can't change current black text to white. But it looks really cool. Nice work. I am sure that in a few weeks we will have working themes and dark version is going to be great.

Hey buddy, you are doing a great job.

But instead of creating one from the scratch you could use an existing dark theme and enhance that....or may be atleast you will get some help from that.

I'm already in development for a theme like this for v4 except the orange will be like a grey colour

I have MIUI ICS, and the mtz file changing only the icons and the colors...
not changed much.............

That's because MIUI v4 doesn't have full theme compatibility yet.

is it possible to use a 255,0,255 and define that as mask or empty color which can later on be defined from within the theme itself ? Say I want a slight hue of blue or some shade of green. I can simply use a slider for hue, one for saturation and one for luminosity and , bam, instant color !

Hey just a suggestion but why not try a temporary diff aproach ...why not metamorph so we can zip theme it...that would be sick this is exactly what i would like...if u did i can test

I'm watching this thread. This is a good looking theme and hopefully v4 will have full theme compatibility one day so we can enjoy it.
