    Hi all,

    With jumaaneface being currently busy with other things he has kindly given me the detail of the overlay for his work, basically from this week on wards i will be porting the NS 4G for you guys.

    WiMax is something we will get back into the ROM 100% guaranteed!

    - Mms may FC due to problems with the framework.jar (jumaaneface is going to look into this later this evening)

    Getting aborted error 7 in CWM. Might be tripping up when it identifies as crespo and not crespo4g?

    in the deodex or the pack? can someone please be more specific as "it doesn't work" etc doesn't help me fix it up for next release or a repack.

    the updater script is for the crespo, not crespo4g. koush made the crespo recoveries specific to each device so people dont flash the wrong roms.

    this has the exact same issues that jumaanfaces earlier releases had, endless fc's and no service.

    There is two parts, Deodex = ROM and then the pack! both combined = ROM so which element?!

    well, in america, rom is rom and pack is add-on. Its the deodex. i changed updater script to reflect crespo4g and it flashed.

    No problem but i dont see how "it doesnt work it FC's" etc etc is useful for helping me to help you guys with a solution. I'm doing this without the device to test it on, i'm depending on you guys to come through with helpful feedback. How did you manage to install it?

    in the updater script it needs to read like this:
    assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "crespo4g" ||
    getprop("ro.build.product") == "crespo4g");

    Those are the first 2 lines

    Hey markhuk. I am technical minded coming from an IT background and will give you a hand with this.

    I have MIUI 1.6.17.1 currently installed. (MIUI.us_crespo4g_1.6.17.1_Eng_Deo_ZipA_Signed_warttack.zip)

    1. I shutdown and entered into CWM 3.1.0.1 (Because that's what I had loaded)

    2. I reset all data, wiped cache partition and Dalvik cache

    3. Attempted to install from ZIP the deodox miuiandroid_NS-1.7.1.zip

    4. It was unsuccessful and I received the following error:

    As mikeyinid and other's pointed out, the \META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script file will need to be updated to reflect the Nexus S 4G device:
