3 things wrong so far (issues in 1.4.1), more about but not had time to get shots:

1. Home screen - Tools folder in Chinese (easily fixed but should be done already)



2. Google sign-In screen - Title too dark (should be white or grey), links to Google T&Cs invisible as in white. Sign in button text wrong shade also



3. Toogle screen - date in top corner too close to time. Makes it look like it's 813:53

No dice I'm sorry to report. After initial boot-up there's an FC message and the system then goes into a boot-loop.
Tried with full wipe (including Dalvik cache) and still no joy.
Any ideas anyone?

Not much help to you but I can confirm that I did the normal steps and the ROM is working as expected.

A few changes in this version:

- New music UI - I like it - the blue theme was starting to look out of place on MIUI

- They fixed the issue where if you have a message and you drag the message icon from the lockscreen - it used to take you into a fullscreen new message window. This is now fixed so it shows the message you are trying to view.

- They have changed the notifications. It's no longer "drag on the left" to get notifications "drag on the right" to get toggles. This completely gone. It's smarter in that if you have a notification dragging anywhere will take you to notifications. If you don't have any notification you will be taken to toggles. I prefer this approach to be honest. Recent apps in has completely gone. I don't really mind this as long press on home button still does the trick.

- Scrolling is still not great in some places - lovely on contacts but still not great in settings lists.

- Overall stability seems better - no launcher FCs so far!

Was good for me before the update, now i can't even use the phone.

Did you try with a clean install?

Also, are the lists working fine? On 1.4.1, with some apps, i'm experiencing a tedious bug, when you move a list the background changes from white to black and i can't ready anything untill i click something.

your first problem(1) is an illusion just change the name yourself

I tried a clean install now nothing works the default launcher FC just after the first boot.
i got this black screen when scrolling in some applications too

Any solution for this?

I know, hence me saying it's easily fixed. Shouldn't have to, though

I think i'll drop MIUI for a couple of weeks and move on some AOSP GB rom :\ this stuff reminds me of early october with Froyo beta rom.

Agreed! I was planning to update from 1.2.4 but there is just to many issues on GB MIUI at the moment. Sticking with Froyo MIUI is probably a wise idea for time being!

It's a shame it's not as good as I much prefer the UI changes that have now come in. Give it time and it'll be good but for now I just can't use it
