Step 1. Download the latest ROM package here: LINK TO BE ADDED!

Step 2. Download the Meizu MX Recovery tools, MEIZU_MX_2_tools.zip
Step 3. Make sure that your Meizu MX has at LEAST 2GB of free internal storage space before you continue to the next step. If not please clear some space. DO NOT extract the MIUI ROM installation package, will be copied directly to the phones internal memory ROOT.

Note: Make sure the phone is fully charged, this step will clear all user data, and may void your warranty, please make the appropriate backup.

Step 4. With your Meizu MX turned off, hold down the volume + power button to enter recovery mode. check √ empty data (Please backup your personal data) and select Update. Upgrade confirmation, pending completion the phone will automatically restart.

Step 5. Next enable ADB USB Debugging, to do this open Settings > Developer Options - Check √ USB debugging.

Step 6. The following image will indicate if you have been successful in provisioning your phone ready for MIUI V4. During the unlocking process the phone will automatically restart. Unlocking is done by selecting the mx_recovery/miui_recovery_for_mx.exe. Double click this file with the Meizu MX connected via USB Cable to your PC.

Step 7. Please ensure that the phone has been successfully unlocked, turn off the phone, turn it back on. If you need the words MEIZU on the phone repeatedly click the volume down key to enter the recovery mode (note: Do not long-press)

Step 8. When in Recovery mode, ensure the recovery interface is RED. Then you need to:

    - Wipe data / factory reset / wipe all user data
    - Wipe the cache partitons

Step 9. Next copy the full ROM package to your phone via USB e.g. miuiandroid_mx-2.5.16.zip (This must be placed in the root directory of the SD card)

Step 10. Flash the installation package as normal. Once completed restart the phone.

THAT'S IT! After successfully restarting from flashing you should now have MIUI installed

It will most likely be out after June 8th, because Meizu will release a fixed ICS at that time and MIUI needs new drivers since the current base is buggy.
