    Hi everyone,

    We've had a few people on the forum and IRC asking us what this JINSHAN_GUARD_PROVIDER apk is.

    Basically it was mentioned in the Changelog this week that there was a new interception database added to the ROM, this JINSHAN GUARD PROVIDER compliments the AntiSpam system app with a new set of interception and security functions.

    For now we see no reason for alarm, the app is not doing anything it shouldn't be. It's really no worse than having something like Lookout Security on your Android device.

    Hope this helps clear up any concerns.

    It was translated this week. The initial release it was not, because we didn't know the APK existed. Its fully translated as of 2.5.18

    i cannot see the app in any drawer, in any version, i am currently in 2.6.1 but it could not see it in previous releases too. i am using sgs2
