    Bought my Arc in China, and it doesnt have an option to add a google account on it.
    it only have syncML , cooporartive and the sony ericsson sync ( which is discontinued)
    since this phone will stay with my wife, I would not like to root and install miui on it by now.

    is there a way to manually install this option on it:
    there is an option to manually add the google server

    If you root the device and install MIUI, I'm sure google accounts will come back. The stock software you used obviously limited a lot of things :/
