    Hello fellas.

Some of you here have experienced slow miui installations?
Has been running some versions of Miui now, but commonly -everything is going slow as hell. I've also noticed very little remaining memory, preferably less than 100 MB or so. Is this something that's common in V4 or may my ICS base be pretty fucked up?

Almost like I'm considering trying again with doc's Miui 2.3 (from xda), but then I lose my fmradio :(

With me so far each version is extremely slow. Always too little memory and extreme loading times!

I always change some settings to speed up like allowed background apps from default to 4, dpi from 240 to 160(I just like that res ;p) and increase the SD cache to 2048 using rom toolbox, try it and you may also see changes until now I have 0 lag with those settings on my Nexus S

    P. S. DPI is not a must and I'm using morfic's trinity kernel ts12 at stock settings (ts12 has no overclocked gpu and the battery last longer if you live cpu at 1000mhz)

    No not at all...
For me it became even slower on 2.7.20 because ram usage seems to got worse :(
I need to clear apps with task manager all the time to keep in a reasonably smooth way...

Soo.. as per today, you can say the ROM is pretty useless by now?

Well...useless might be a quite harsh phrase. But if you want not just new features or bugfixes, but better performance and better ram management you might be disappointed. For now I can live with it, because I really like MIUI. Hopefully it gets better. Maybe when official kernel 924 is rootable...

I'm using the B924 kernel in th official Rom and i have rooted it in 1minute...

But I think we will never get a full working miui v4 for the honor... memory management in ICS is too bad and our phone to weak to handle it
