..but wait. I have an Inspire 4G. Can I flash this?

Yes you must flash Inspiremod. This re-enables the MIC and fixes the sound issues. On top of the ROM (After you flash MIUI). Simply flash in recovery.

Try the kernel listed above your previous post. That should also work should inspiremod not.

Yes. If you own an HTC Inspire 4G one of those 2 above flashes will fix the sound.
